How do I take screen shots?

My regular capture utility from AnalogX doesn’t works in this game and I can't find any mention of a key combination for taking them.

I really want to save some of these screens. The graphics are great.

Try the "print screen" button on your keyboard. And granted- the scenery is photographic at times, specially those two moons.

Thanks I'll try that.
Do you have any idea where it will save what it prints?

As far as I can tell that doesn't even work when I'm not in the game.
At least I don't see the hard drive run when I push it as I do with my capture utility.

Usually games like this have a key combination to do this.

Anyone have any Ideas.

Nope, never taken a screen in this game, but i noticed a mention in some other thread about the print screen button, so i helped a fellow player. I've been thinking about taking a screen from the two moons from Sayda neen (orwhatever) shore, but i dislike the clouds. Can they be removed with the editor easily?

Apparently you have to edit the Morrowind.ini file to change the line...

Screen Shot Enable=0 To Screen Shot Enable=1

Then hit the print screen button.

Well I have taken some screen shots!

For some reason when I first open them they are almost black, but once they are lightened up in a photo editing program they look great.

I have Adobe Photoshop and am able to adjust them to look just right. I even printed one of them out on my photo printer and the print looks fabulous.

So if you try making screen shots and they look like a black square try to lightening them up.

You may have to keep FSAA turned off when taking screenshot because it is not a one-to-one image in the buffer. (FSAA - Full Screen Anti-Aliasing).
