Yes we know Q1 isn't over yet, but Q1 ends in 4 weeks, if they were on target, don't you think there would be an official date by now?

Jowood drops the ball again!!!! and it has cost them at least 1 game sold (im sure im not alone)

Yeah thats what every one says but you damn well know your gonna still wait for G2 and play it and its gonna be the best damn game ever , if it ever gets released

Actually... it IS about us. Sorry but that's how the market works, everything is based on the consumer, us. Dwindling interest IS a problem, delaying games causes that which causes less willingness to go out on release date to go buy the game at $50. They'll just say "oh well" and wait till it's $20 or forget about it and not buy it at all. "Our problem"?? No, it's theirs, they ARE out to make money after all... OUR money. Not that I'm not going to buy it, I just got Gothic 1 a week ago.. finished already, pretty good other than some balance issues and controls, so I might buy Gothic 2 on release day ^^

I can't say that the delays haven't ticked me off, BUT... Gothic was a very fun game, and I will definitely be buying Gothic II, played the demo, and LOVED it. To anyone that has "lost interest" because of the "long wait and delays", man, grow up. Games get pushed back all the time, just for instance Tron 2.0 just got pushed back till almost the end of the year (I think), anyway, a substantial amount of time, but does that mean I will lose interest? I don't THINK so, I'll still be first in line waiting when it comes out

@Gig: Actually, there was an official English release date back in November. It was changed to Q1 2003.

My sentiments exactly.

Amazon.com:

Availability: This item will be released on April 17, 2003. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.

So I think it has slipped to Q2.

Actually, unless we see some changes from JoWooD, I doubt that G2 English will ever be released (even though the estimated release date will still be Q1 2003). JoWooD seems to be inactive since last December!

I'm a little annoyed by the fact that I'll have to wait for this one. But on the bright side, I may actually be able to run the game when it comes out.

Surprise, Surprise!!!!

HAHAHAHA What did i tell you now they are saying May 2 !!!! This just gets better and better. I guarantee when May2 comes guess what- no gothic 2!. Im dissapointed to see this happen to PB- after all im sure that the game will be amazing but i have complelety lost interest in the whole medieval fantasy genre. Jowood drops the ball again and it will only continue. yet another game ruined by poor publishers. Well i might buy it in a couple years(if its out) when ill be able to run in and when it will be real cheap. Earlier in the year thiws would have made me angry but know i just think its funny- anyone else share my feelings??
