I have two PCs here with the two versions of Gothic running: the original German version with the North American version.
We were running some side by side comparisons on the two, and more than simple texture skins have been changed. It appears that NPC scheduling has also been changed.
The bath babe, simply does not go take a bath in the North American version. Replacing the texture does not correct the propblem of this censorship. |

No, I too saw one of the women taking a bath. She was wearing a bikini....and not much else  . |

Yea…She bathes in the evening and if you remove the bikini texture she bathes in the nude…for what ever that’s worth.

in the german version she bathes at 12 o´clock and totally nude ;-D

In the American version she do the same, but if you dont remove the bikini file, she will have a bikini (Censored).

So do you totally delete the bikini texture or do you replace it with another one. Has anyone got it to work; I've read conflicting things here.
I don't want to delete a file that will cause the game to crash but I would like to restore it to its uncensored form.

Rename the file by removing the .VDF part from it. If you still keep the .VDF part the game will still read it.
