| Letter that disappeared from my pack? |

I was wandering around the Dren Plantation and found a key to the place.
I went into the basement and found a whole lot of money, some drugs and an incriminating letter. I took the money and the letter. There's a lot of goo stuff here.
I left the house and went to free the slaves, after talking to one (“Hides His Feet” or something like that ), he said he would leave with me and this led to me getting the key to the slaves and freeing them, it also made me a criminal with a price on me head.
I took him where he wanted to go, and as a reward he told me about the letter that I had already found and said that I could use it to influence the lord.
I left him and returned to Balmora and turned myself in and paid my fine, a short time later I checked my pack and the letter was gone.
I checked back at the plantation where I found it and it had not reappeared there either.
I don't know if this is important or not.
Anyone used the letter for anything?

You can use the letter to blackmain Dren into "seeing things your way" later on when he vetos your becoming the Horator of the house Hlaalu. If he's dead though, his oppinion won't matter any more though. So I wouldn't sweat it.
