After completing Gothic the second time through I loaded up an old save and returned to where the game began. I used marvin mode plus "K" to hop through the grating at the mine entrance where we all found our first pick-axes. Surprisingly as I ran forward the
game went to a load screen the same as for both the Old and Free Mines. When the game finished loading I found myself in total darkness; a darkness so complete that my trusty light spell could not illuminate.

Those damn publishers should be executed at dawn for rushing this awesome RPG.

You were in an other dungeon!
It is really dark there inside and you have to you use the light, but you wont find nothing like monsters or weapons in there.
I have got a MOD where you have to find a sword inside this dungeon, but nothing more.......
