Morrowind Tribunal: Ask Bethesda

RPGDot will be doing a Morrowind: Tribunal interview with Bethesda shortly - and I thought I would offer you to submit some questions you'd like to have answered by them. I can't guarantee to get all of them into the interview, but I'll try my best.

So please ask your questions here, and I will collect them. Please no discussion in this thread - just questions you'd like to ask. Everything else will be deleted.

Hope you like the idea

1) combat is rather simple in original game - are there improved combat options/moves available?

2) is new quests in expansion will be same as in original game, or its will be more complex/interesting (story with strange twist, suspense, mystery, puzzles to solve)?

3) are there new birth signs, heads/faces and hair styles available?

4) will the expansion make performance optimizations and improves the stability of Morrowind?.

5) any new background music for the expansion?.

- Will there be improved dialogue or factional recognition? Eg. NPCs currently have an approval rating but there is no real recognition of achievements such as heading up a guild or house.

- Will NPCs (or at least some key ones) have schedules or other devices to inject a little more personality/life?

- Will they do something about the "merchants don't have enough cash" issue? This could be adding a rich merchant, or telling us "no, but here's why we think it's a bad idea...."

- Perhaps some way to have multiple mark/recall points, maybe with the quantity based on your mysticism or willpower?

Improvements

- Option to play in 16 bit modes for those of us with lower spec machines

- Schedules for NPCs - esp. Night time and when it's raining - seems a bit daft that everyone stands around in a thunderstorm or at 03.00 hrs

- NPCs should get upset/flee/attack you when you walk into their house and start poking around

- Bigger creatures - like in the "Giants" mod

- NPCs/Monsters follow you through doors when being attacked

- More multiple opponents to fight at same time, rather than 1/2 at a time

- Penalty for dying e.g. lose gold or skill points or a level

- A cool Time travel quest

Despite the above, still a top game!

1. Will they add support for horses?
2. Will they make NPCs, monsters and life in general in morrowind more dynamic. Like thetrees and stuff are too static. Make them at least sway. Or make them have something to them.
3. Any other weather effects?

Ok, I will close this thread now, because I will send off the questions today. Thanks for participating, and I added some of your quetions to the interview (wasn't able to add them all, since the interview would have been to long then, but I tried my best).

I will let you know when the Q&A is online.
