Was wondering if it's possible to turn off in game music and instead play the .dls music files through windows media player in order to conserve memory?

Actually playing a mp3 player through windows media player in the background gives much better performance than having music play in the game.

Anyone know why?

WMP takes up about 5mg of sys memory.

How much does the ingame music take?

The bigger question is how you would handle the music sequencing?
