woah...flashback to like 2 years ago...EGADS IM A NOOB AGAIN!!! 
anyway. 2 quick questions.
1.) where's diego's gold? i thought it was that first treasure chest outside of the passage thing, so i went and dumped 5 LPs into picklocks to get the friggin thing open. for those of you who haven't opened that particular chest, there's like 3 gold pieces in there.  if i could get instructions, or a map image with an X on it or something i'd be very much thankful. 
2.) do i have to find the thieve's guild to become a paladin? i did that job with whats-his-face in the tavern, and he said hed talk to his employers. haven't heard anything since. i figured it wouldn't matter, but no one's asked me if i want to become a paladin yet, and im just about to get the 3 gods' representatives into the sun circle. if i do have to kill the thieves, how do i find em?

Have you gotten the amulet fixed yet? Don't want to spoil too much. You have a task to perform related to the amulet, when you do that you have to ask Lord Hagen to become paladin.
