Well, that's not good, because original g2 text won't be translated.

So why intend on buying g2 gold? Why not just install the add-on over the english version, so original text and speech remain in english. seems more logical to me

UHM... I can't believe it.

I've said it over and over again, but you just don't seem to understand it

I'll say it for the last time, and hope this time you'll get it:

The mod translates ALL the text from german to english, no matter what combo of Gothic 2 and its addon you'll use (be them both german ones, or german gold edition, or english Gothic 2 and german addon). So, again, no matter what combo you'll use, ALL the text will be translated.

The only difference come when it's about the speech. If you'll use both german ones, or the german gold edition, ALL speech will be in german. If you'll use Gothic 2 english version and german version of the addon, only the new addon's speech will be in german, while the original one from Gothic 2 will remain in english.

Is that clear enough now?!!

RECOMANDATIONS

We strongly adivce you (even if that would be a choice of your own), to also support this german series developer and its international release version by buying the future english version of Gothic II addon's, Die Nacht des Raben. This mod is only a subtitle one, and can't be better than the future full voice-acted official one, which will worth each penny you'll spent on it! So, if you really like this series immersion magic, and also want to support Piranha Bytes to continue this series, we think you should definatelly buy this future addon's english version!

and in a few posts in this thread and in anothers
