Vanguard: Interview Transcript @ Online Gaming Radio

A transcript of Online Gaming Radio's interview on Vanguard from back on June 10th is now online:
Leonai Art: This is one of the questions that I have. My husband is a die-hard, tabletop roleplayer and I'm curious to know exactly how much that influences the game of Vanguard, the actual creation of it.

Brad McQuaid: I think it does, and will, to a significant degree. We're also big D&D fans going way back. I think probably, outside massively multiplayer games, the types of games that are influencing Vanguard and our design and our world are mostly the fantasy novels that we've all enjoyed reading, the D&D and all the other paper and pencil games we've played as well as all the text MUDs we all enjoyed. Bringing back the dungeon crawl, and the commradery in a group, in a party, and working together to overcome odds and get the phat lewts is definitely part of what's planned.
