in a faq it says u cant use saved games from demo but..

in a faq it says u cant use saved games from demo but.. its possible. by switching around the demo files w/ the regular gothic files, i was able to get (w/o realy trying) saved demo games on the real game.

although i have a huge set of problems w/ my gothic (narrowed it down to just sound issue) read troubleshooting forum for info

Save games from the demo will work with the full version, but don't forget that the demo has just about one third of the colony's population in it... if you keep on using your demo saves with the full version you'll in all probability encounter empty camps at one point in the future.

That is exactly what will happen. The parts of the game outside the demo will be completely uninhabited.

I know because I tried it.

Demo Save games

Alraight many people whant to play with there demo save games in the full-version (my to)When I had the full-version I thought this is a lot of work to do that al aigen. But it's more fun If you just start over aigen!
