Plates in Crypt

After getting into the room first time and hearing challenge, left to go back to the City to refuel, and get rid of stuff. Came back and the plates don't seem to want to rotate. However, All SEEM to be in proper spots, but when I place the disc's on the pedastals nada... Nothing I do seems to make it work. Am I hosed? Does anyone have any suggestions??? I would be eternally in debted to the incredibly kind gamer who could help me overcome this point of frustration. Thanks Much!!! Zeke...

Try picking them up and start over. Each plate must be turned so the outter one facing you as you stand in the center of the circle matches the way you found them in the rooms. When you do this right, you get a pep talk from the ghost. Then you set the rocks on the pillars that have raised up now in the order matching the inner design that shows. You have to click on the turning stones themselves to make them turn, no on the top thing sticking up. If this doesn't help, post again, and we can do a step by step.

The infamous plates!!!

My real problem appears to be that the infamous plates won't move!!! I don't know why. I am on X-Box, as I said the ghost acknowledged me upon getting there, I then left, went for a breather, and when I returned all the plates seemed properly aligned, (not by me, I never saw them move at anytime) so I placed the disks on the posts. Problem is I never moved any plates, and can't figure out how to get them to move. Have picked up the disks a couple times, doesn't seem to help. Thanks for gettin back to me but still at a loss as to what to do. May have to go back and start that part all over! Thanks Much... Zeke

If you are sure they ended up set right then yes, I would reload a save game and start over from there. Are you sure you placed the stones in the order corresponding to the symbol on the innermost part of the turning stone? Other than that I have no ideas for you but reload. Sorry.
