| Near end of Chapter 3: glitch? |
|
I'm trying to get everyone to circle of sun, Xardas & Pyrokar are there, but for some reason vatras isn't! I saw him walk off when I talked to him & its been days since, the other two made it but he didn't! Is this a glitch/bug?
I tried "insert Vatras" but that just crashed the game immediately.
Maybe he is hiding in the bushes somewhere?!  |

The characters should reset their locations after you sleep. So, try to sleep first (in game mode of course), then return to the Circle of the Sun. See if Vatras is there.
If not, Vatras is probably killed by some wolves and seekers (very unlikely). Then, it's time to cheat if it's ethical enough for you.
So, try sleep first before you consider cheating. |

Thanks kiwi boy,
Yeah I went to sleep in the tavern first for 3 days (after a reload just to be sure he wasn't just slow!). but Vatras still wasn't there, I've tried to cheat to get him in there but the game just crashes immediately

Perhaps Vatras really died then -- I don't know, maybe someone else here can help you.
Anyway, cheating is kind of prohibited around here, especially during the time when G2 is released for only two weeks. If I'm you, I would rather reload than consider cheating. Anyway, if you really want, here's the vob code for Vatras:

I don't think they actually physically walk there. I have noticed when I have followed NPCs somewhere then they need to got back to where they come from and I wait for a minute to go in the same direction as them running and they were walking I will never seem them again until I get to their orignal spot. So doubt Vatras was killed, he is probably stuck in the Binary Hell. |

Thanks again for your help, I'll try that code....I don't really consider it cheating if the game code is bad enough to "lose" a central character & thus stick me in game limbo!! |
