It was repeatedly stated that content-wise and even art-wise, both version would be exactly the same. Also the draw distance is pretty far out, I heard. I think the fact that it runs on a TV will make the resolution much less of a problem, it simply doesnt take that high a resolution to look good on a TV. |

Thanks! This is good to hear, i was a little worried that the xbox version was somewhat different from the pc version.

I've had the X-Box version pre-ordered from Amazon.com for about a month. It should be shipping any day now. I'm sure going to miss my wife... |

There is actually an XBox trailer available for download, I think there's a link to in in the news section of the official morrowind forums. Also, places like teamxbox.com have XBox screenshots up (if I remember correctly).
Anyway, after watching the trailer, I can say that not once did I really notice the draw distance being that much closer than on the PC version of the trailer. The outdoor environments moved pretty smoothly (not that they would put choppy gameplay in a trailer), and the resolution was slightly noticable. There were some jaggies in HALO as well that I saw in screenshots that I rarely noticed when everything was moving around. I think the blurriness of a TV compared to a monitor will make this 640x480 game one of the best looking console RPG's ever. |

Morrowind (XBox) = Morrowind (PC) minus editor.
So yes, the Xbox offers the same landscape, quests, dialogue, monsters.... _________________ Rendelius
