Does anyone know what role it was supposed to have played? If you marvin-teleport past the gate, it has a loading screen, but then you are trapped in eternal darkness...

It's probably something that was cut due to time constraints, lack of funding, couldn't fit it in the story, etc, etc, etc.  |
