Gothic 2 Review @ Fragland |
|
The 2nd Gothic 2 review for today is up at Fragland. It's an interesting piece of writing that carries an almost disinterested tone despite the reasonably good score of 80.3%:
Gameplay was quite ok. Period. It’s not the best I ever saw, but certainly not the worst. Also the AI was put together very well. For instance, never run into a crowd with your sword in your hand, everybody will pull out his/her sword and they will come after you.

As you can see the game is quite ok. For the fans, a must. For others, there are better things to play.
Damned by faint praise? |

I wasen't gonna comment but ,I can't help myself so what the hell.Idiots like this strengthen my belief and give evidence to the fact that alot of reviewers are as dumb as stumps.I think there should be a reviewer of reviewers just to weed out those that waste people's time with their asinine remarks. |

That's what happens when you let 16 year olds write reviews. ...seriously...16 _________________ "You two are a regular ol' Three Musketeers."

OK, when will Rpgdot STOP posting every moron's review on the newspage.
This gets very annoying!
I guess there are more so-called reviewers out the than actually playing the games. PERIOD. |

Probably the most incoherent review i've read so far. Obviously, people who can't think properly shouldn't be let loose, writing stuff they don't understand. |

The rating itself sint so bad but the review is very childish and unproffesional. |

Take a fish out of water, might be a nice place but he still won't like it. I think based on "Fragland" as the name of the site, its primarily for FPS type games. You take someone who is used to rooms with two doors, the one you came in and the one you have to fight to get out, and he will be overwhelmed by being dropped into a "World". In FPS games you get used to being able to take out everything thrown at you from the beginning. Sure you don't start with much but the bad guys are wimps too. Its not like venturing a little too far into the woods with your "heavy branch" and running into a Shadowbeast. To me it was sort of seemed like it was this guys first venture into the world of wide open RPGs. I remember how I felt venturing into Morrowind the first time, thank god for Desslock's excellent guide, and these forums. Now if I play and FPS game I feel like I'm riding on rails through the countryside instead of being on a long winding road. I don't like it. I like the freedom, but it took some getting used to. I don't think this reviewer was "used to" it yet. |
