Valley of the mines - answers to Silvestro and Diego's Mine

Its really frustrating, spent a long hiding and running away from the Orcs, Wargs, Lizardman, snappers, etc. Yet still unable to find the sequence to the note left behind by Silvestro, such that I can report to Lord Garond.

Anyone has any clues how to proceed.

If you need details please post in spoiler forum, but highlight the following.

Spoiler:

The safest way to get to Diego is leave Sylvestro's mine and turn right, pass Fajeth's mine and head up to the old watch tower and pass to the left of it. Cross the field and look for 2 dead knights close together. Follow the little path up into Diego's hideout and you should find him there.
