This is my first attempt at The Stranger Quest and I'm kinda stuck.
I've found books 1 and 2 but I can't seem to find the third. The Riddle leads me to think that it's near water or a waterfall. Do you have to kill anything to make it appear, or are all of the books already inserted?

You have to find the books in order. Yes, its near water. I think by the old camp where the river splits, near the north gate. |

What is the Point of this quest... $h!t$ and giggles? At the End will I find out who the Stranger is?

You can find all locations on the map on GothicDot. The Chromanin quest is meant to be done together with the focus search.
