| trolls don't like me much! |
|
I have received the amulet but trolls still chase and try to kill. Did I miss something?  |

You must have killed one earlier on and therefore, they are still set to hostile.

I had the same thing and I definitely had not killed a troll (I liked 'em). I figured it it was because I overlooked Greu earlier on and did it a little later. I eventually ignored it and just killed the trolls on L5; it didn't turn the other trolls against me and gave me a little more XP. |

Is it possible that you had already entered the level before you got the necklace? I'm guessing if they already went into "attack mode" they wouldn't revert back to a friendly state.
Just wondering... |

Thank you Dhruin and Red. I did get to Greu later and may have entered the level prior to obtaining the amulet. I am building a warrior, but it's not always easy to kill trolls, lich, etc. I'll try more magic- fireballs? any other suggestions

You're probably right about this. I really don't remember and I learned early not to wander too far off the intended track but I might have had a quick look. |

Well, I went to the level myself and they didn't notice me and this didn't cause a problem, but had I them noticing it migth have been a different story. |

The "enchanted" two handed sward and fireballs are life savers!!!
