I'm gonna wait for it to hit stores in the US and I just got Arx Fatalis (sp) so I'm in no rush. I am curious how it is so far. Opinions please.

Edit: Oh and the bugs? Can't forget that.

I wouldn't wait if I were you. It was wonderful. Arx wasn't close.

Rich story, actually only a couple of crashes, a few oddities, but none I encountered that stopped gameplay. The mechanics a bit tough at first, but as soon as you remember what the original was like, they're easily mastered.

A great game! Sad it took so long for someone to import the English version to the U.S.

Arx is loved by many but I have yet to play it so I can't say how much I like it.

I guess it's all about opinions. Gamespot gave the first gothic a 7.2 but gave Arx a 8.4 and gave Morrowind 8.7. The first gothic was MUCH better than Morrowind IMO. So I guess it's all up to the player.

yeah I know but in G1 it was short for the games length, not difficulty though.
