Welcome to the forums!
You can find an overview of the Gothic seriesī cheat system in our Cheat Guide on GothicDot. The mechanics didnīt change since the first game, only the specific codes for items, etc. have been replaced.
You enter 'Marvin mode' by typing marvin blindly into the character screen followed by closing the screen with Esc, S or B depending on your configuation. Then you see a message in the top-left corner. Now F2 toggles the console.
The command to see the frame rate is frate. I donīt remember if you have to type it into the console or if itīs a status screen cheat like Marvin above.
If you post your PC specs we can tell you how the game should run. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

@wacko3,
That extra 256 of dissimilar ram does not help in the least! - - however, to check the frame rate during game-play, in marvin type TOGGLE FRAME, and repeating the command to disable, also type in ZTOGGLETIMEDEMO will give an average "weighted" frame rate of your current video card. |
