I am playing as a mage and want to create an "awaken golem" rune. However I cannot find a stone golem heart.
I have found and killed the stone golem (took a long time with 20 str) on the way to Xardas' old tower in the valley map, but when I act on the rubble, it says that there is nothing to plunder.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong? |

You have to learn "take hearts", then you'll be able to get the heart.

I'm not sure, but I think you can buy a stone golem heart from Lutero, a high-class citizen in the Upper Quarters of the city. |

there are more stone golems in the VoM on your way to the mountain fort, where in gothic 1 you and lester got a focus stone. just in case you didnt know where more were located

Thanks peoples
Lutero sells both a stone golem and a demon heart.
That is the one thing that bugs me in G2 is that you have to learn every little trick at a very expensive experience points cost.
I have now finished as a mage and have almost finished as a paladin.
I must say that archer/mage was way more satisfying. |

I sugjest you wont make that rune... is a bad magic.. if you make more than 1 stone golen all of your stone golems will sturt fighting... (thos stone golem are idiots...).. or if you make 2 skeletons and one golem the golem will fight the skeletons... (semmond skelletons wont kill each other...) 1 stone golem is not a big problem to defeat for a monster... so they are weak... |
