Killing Divyth Fyr

I think that's how you spell his name, the dude that cures Corprus in Tel Fyr.
Well, I really really want a full set of Daedric armor but cannot find any pauldrons or a curiass.
I am aware of a Telvanni house quest where you can get greaves and a curuiass but for one thing I am already head of another house, and those items are already enchanted with Feather 50pts.
This leaves me with the unpleasant task of killing the above mentioned to get his armor. I have read other posts about this and people suggesting getting the stuff from him.
The problem is although I have already been cured by him I still get the "doomed world" message after killing him (I taunted him into battle).
Is this message simply hard coded into this character or will his death really screw the main quest even though I have been cured?

It's hard coded- you will get that message even after killing Dagoth Ur.
