How to tell speed of weapon?

Is there some reliable way to determine which weapon (for instance in the short sword class) is speedier or is there no difference between short swords at all? Note I am ONLY talking about comparing weapons within a weapon class (not between different classes of weapons).

i don't know how you can do it in game, but if you go into the TEC and then load the MW main files you will be able to view all the weapons. this will show you their basic stats, reach, speed, etc. hope this helps.

Actually i can say that having a char with SPD of 158 & a char with a SPD of 20 they both weild their swords just as fast (both have short blade at 100), also marksman skill only determines how often you hit something, and the governing attribute is actually obsolete (with agility of 50 and skill of 80 i hit more often than with agility of 200 and skill of 60)
