getting back up from being floored? |
|
If I am hit to the ground I am unable to get back up even though I am still alive. Although usually the hitpoints bar goes down rapidly!
There was one exception, I was with Angar in a skeleton cave and being knocked senseless by skeletons and then after Angar had killed them all, I was back up again and he said "You fought bravely" or something to that effect. But I was lying on the floor all the time, but able to turn still.
A similar problem I have is when too many orcs are attacking me and pressing run or jump has no effect. Is this a bug or just my own keyboard driver? I do have a slow processor. _________________ "How are things?"

Normally you can get up by pressing the use button. It takes a little time to shake of those hits. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

I think, it's not a bug. When enemy does damage to you, you will stun for a while (just see, if some orc is attacking you, and you hit him first, you will interrupt his attack and he will stun for a second - this same thing will happen to you, when enemy hits you). Therefore, when you are attacked by many strong enemies (such as orcs), you will get a lot of damage from them and you cannot run or jump when you are stunned. |

Yes, if a troll hits you there is a time delay before you get up again. StunTimeDelay parameter maybe. However, since I can spin round on the ground with the arrow keys it feels a bit strange, and frustrating. I forgot to mention that I had pressed H for potion hotkey, thus cheating death.
I will try the use key next time it happens. _________________ "How are things?"
