Okay, i have over 10 000 coins! What are they good for? They have no value.

I ... wouldn't.

The fact that there's an export function in Gothic probably means that Gothic II will import your character data, it'll ask you to point it at your last save I 'spect, etcetera. I theorize that they put coins for Gothic II in I because you'd have more of a headstart in II then. Newbs would have to go on a number of 'training missions' to get the kind of gold that you'd start off with. So it'll be dynamic in that respect.

This is only theory but five'll get ye ten that's what they're for. So hang on to them, just in case.

You are needing to be pressing Use and Down to do the happy tossing of things.

Enter Marvin mode. Type 'hero export', this exports your hero to the given file. Then start your new game, enter Marvin mode, and type 'hero import', which imports your hero from the given file.
