Welcome to the forums.

If I'm correct you need a special program to make screenshots. You can probaly download it from several sites.

I thought you could press printscreen and paste it into a paint program. I never tried though.

you can do that offcorse also but Gothic dosent support minimize so after u print screen u must quit the game and enter the paint and paste it there and then again run the game. tho there are many free softs that can do pictures of the game

In case you need a good tool to make screenshots with, you might want to check out the Ultima Online Screenshot Utility (UOSU).
