F*CK!! I posted a message about a week ago asking if I could ever switch back to a fighter if I took the oath to become a mage of fire. I wanted to learn 3 or 4 circles of magic and then switch to the new camp. I'm on chapter 4 now and have joined the new camp but I can only switch to a water mage!
I was told I would have access to all the stuff the new camp has to offer but I don't because I'm stuck as a mage now. |

the one handed teacher is on a platform, on the way to the free mine.
Just beside the mean cave.
2 handed must be learned from the mercenary leader |

yea you cant actually 'change back to a fighter' but you can just learn fighting skills after you become a fire mage, even if your guild isnt the 'guards' or wateva,
ur guild can be 'fire mage' even though youve masterd one handed weapons and have high strength.
the path is yours... |

HAHA, the first time through this game I beat up Mordrag and gave Ian's list right to Diego, so I was pissed when Lares men kept telling me I couldnt see him...So I saved the game and went on a bloody rampage on the NC Rogues. When I pulled Lares' Axe from him and it had damage of 65 (was using a Stone Crusher at the time, dmg: 37) I thought I struck the mother lode!! |

haha, hey anonymous
if you are a mage now, I would suggest training all your combat skill now before you dont have that option again
you're gonna be a mage regardless (unless you dont *want* better armor, more spells, etc etc) |

if your a member of new camp, and a mage, best i remember , i think Wolf will sell you any armour you may want to wear ..
if you have 4- 5 different armour, just switch back and forth as you wish..
and choose your fighting style , and Go for it

yea,
but joining the old camp is funnest,
and even if you become a shadow/guard/fire mage you can still get to lares by jumping ontop of the hut infront of the baal their, (it takes u over the top of and u drop down infront of lares' front door.
the rogues dont stop u because u never pass through them |

No, you can't buy armor from Wolf if you're a mage. That's why I'm so pissed. I know the mage robes are just as good if not better but I wanted to look like one of the mercenaries. |

The mercenaries dont looks that good any way, light armor doesnt even look as power full as heavy rogue armor, and normal armor is kinda lop-sided (has one chunky metal pad on one shaulder but nothing on the other) and heavy looks rarther normal, doesnt look chunky or tough at all.
id rarther get the cool 'magic' feeling of the game by wearing the mage robe... |

If it's truly all about 'Look' then activate marvin mode, use 'o' to possess a guard with the kind of armor you want, and have him drop it. Reposses your character and pick it up. Done deal.
Once more, if you use this cheat to get heavy armor at the beginning of the game and whine that it's too easy... don't come crying to me. Cuz I don't give a rats ass about how you screwed up your own enjoyment... we're all big boys (and maybe girls) capable of deciding for ourselves if we should or shouldn't do this.

i was able to Join the Old camp complete all quest .. later in the game switch to join the New camp and become a mercenary, then become a mage .....
its all about making decisions, and who you ask to join,
did you tell anyone that you would like to Join the mercs ? go ask some of the Mercs in the new camp. |
