How do I equip a ring? I found one in a cave but I cant put it on. only drop it. its a ring of lesser dexterity.

Go into your inventory, move over the ring with the highlight, and press control-up (or whatever you use to talk to people, open chests, etc).
The tricky part is UNEQUIPPING. You press control up again. Heh. Control down seemed logical to me for a little bit. Dropped more items that way...

is this the first ring u have ever found?
a:you just push left action button and forwards? it will become blue and u will get the advantages of wearing it.
b:you can equip 2 rings, and 1 amulet at any given time. |

Yeah i've pressed control & up but the rind doesnt highlight blue like when i have a weapon equipped so i can't tell if the ring is equipped (wearing it).
I took this ring from the old mines. I basicly had to run a round monsters to get it so I might have cheated a little bit to get it so I was thinking my character is able to equip rings yet? I don't know.
If the ring turns blue will it have a number on it like when I equip a weapon?

No it won't have a little number, but it will turn blue, and it doesn't matter how you got it. If it's in your inventory and you don't already have two others equiped, you can equip a ring. I find that sometimes I have to push the use+up several times to get certain things to equip, and it helps to kind of hold it for a second or two when I push the buttons to equip it.

You can press "S" to check you Dex. & Stn first. then go to your inventory, ring and press Ctrl+down to drop the ring and check the "S" screen again.
If you see different Dex and Stn, than you previously did it right. pick up the ring again and equip it and check. |

he should be able to wear the ring any way.
just muck around with it. ull probibly find it was just something little...
