Okay it's time for new bets
Ex: Team1 vs Team2: Result after 2x45Min, Result FROM Silvergoal 2x15Min, Result FROM Penalty shooting
DO ALWAYS bet on all three events eventhough you think the game will be decided after 90 minutes
NOTE:
ONLY the goals made in the Silvergoal period are we betting on.
ONLY the goals made in the penalty shooting contest are we betting on
DO NOT add the goals for second and third event.
Add a joker to one of the 4 quarter finals, for double points on all 3 events.
My bets on the quarter finals:
1. Portugal vs. England 1-2, 0-0, 2-4 (Joker)
2. Sweden vs. Holland 1-2, 0-0, 5-3
3. Czech Rep vs. Denmark 1-2, 0-0, 3-5
4. France vs. Greece 2-0, 0-0, 4-2
The finalist bets: Make a prediction NOW before start of the first quarter final (tonight 19.45 GMT), on which teams will enter the semi-finals (2 Point per correct team), The finals (3 Points per correct team), and the winner ofcourse (7 Points for correct team)
My bets on the finalists:
Semi-finalists: England, Holland, Denmark, France
Finalist: England, Denmark
Winner of Euro 2004: England
@Seth, I hope you get the time to precise your bets regarding "silvergoal", and ofcourse adding a "Joker". Dividing silvergoal into 2 periods, is a little too much in my opinion, people already have enough to figure out. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

3. Czech Rep vs. Denmark 3-1, 0-0, 4-3
4. France vs. Greece 2-1, 1-0, 5-4 (joker)
Semi-finalists: England, Holland, Czech Rep , France
Finalist: England, Czech Rep
Winner of Euro 2004: Czech Rep
(i hope Holland will make it all the way but when it will come to penalty's they can pack there bags) _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

Damn! It was predctable that Germany gets kicked out. The offense was too harmless. But the real shock came this morning:

I'm afraid you're absolutely right there, although RVN scored a penalty against Latvia. _________________ Fear is a dangerous thing: fear leads to hate and hate leads to suffering - Yoda

Yep, they were too harmless, a midfield with almost only defensive qualities.
I'm not that surprised that Rudy Völler retires, his seat must be very hot anyway. Germany has suffered to many disappointments lately for him to stay. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

No, his seat was not hot. He was not aggressively criticized. Compared to Berti Vogts and most Bundesliga coaches this was nothing.
Now it will probably be Ottmar Hitzfeld, Champion´s League winner with Dortmund and Bayern. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

So, who are the newspapers down there blaming for the Germans early departure, the players??? Not, that I expect Italian conditions in Germany, but the new papers in general always need to blame someone!? _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

@Michael: It's logical that Völler wasn't criticized to hard. He was the coach that has brought Germany to the WC final in 2002. Also the German press knew that the team wasn't quite good, so no high expectations.
Also edited my earlier post. _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

The standings include points for correct semi-finalist.
Toaster, Mercenary, Wooper, Lady Armageddona and patriot forgot to place the betting.
Portugal – England : FT 1 – 1, ExT(2) 1 – 1, PS 6 – 5
Portugal advances 2(+1) – 2
25-Jun France - Greece
26-Jun Sweden - Netherlands
27-Jun Czech Republic – Denmark
code:
1. Eric 33
2. Seth 31
3. Michael C 30
4. Gorath 25
5. Bartacus 21
6. Lady Armageddona 14
-. Toaster 14
8. Neo_Genesis 13
9. Xerox 12
10. Mercenary 11
11. patriot 7
12. Wooper 4
13. New Dude 3
Eric got 7 points for that game woot!!
His bet 1-1,0-0,4-3 + 3 for correct score in Regular time, +1 for Extra time +1 for correct team in penalty shoot out and +2 for semi-finalist.
Please check for errors since now we enter a little confusing calculation. _________________ Money - An article which may be used as a universal passport to everywhere except heaven, and as a universal provider of everything except happiness. |
