Vegeta from Dragonball Z. A tragic character who strives to be the best only to be shown up at every turn by Goku or get beaten by his own sense of pride. He was a villain, then he was more of an anti-hero, then a villain... until finally he was redeemed.
My pic is from where he was possessed by an evil wizard. It was during the depths of that ordeal that he discovered his own humanity.
