That in Gothic screen shots:
Gomez is an old man with white hair
In Game he has brown hair and moustache
this confused me at first. I thought the guy with the white hair was the BIG boss (bigger than Gomez)
Xardas is an evil lookin mofo with fiery eyes and crazy hair
In Game he's normal looking guy with normal hair
I think the Germans softened the game up, maybe they think their images in games are too rough for the soft americans and would frighten us away from Gothic?
Or am I wrong? Go to official Gothic website and have a look |

I always kind of assumed the white-haired guy with Gomez' Armor was the original governor of the colony. I thought Gomez stole his armor after taking power.
Gomez is always portrayed as dark-haired with a moustache, even in the opening video.

How would it be pussible for a old guy to take control of the kingdom.
You would not fallow an old guy in a rebellion if you had a choice. And if you followd him, you would kill him the first change you get.

That's right. The old guy is either the governor of Khorinis (the Colony) or King Rhobar himself.

...and Xardas, Gomez and the whole lot look exactly the same in the German version. Always the same guys, sorry. No 'hard' German version and 'soft' US version... except for known stuff like the concert and the bathing gal . |

Yup, Jazzie is German and has the German version of Gothic.
...I just don't like the German boards too much, not enough going on there for my taste... |

In my last English language test I scored high enough to earn the 'bilingual' attribute. I've been living in the States for a while in '90, but it's been just for three months, so I wouldn't attribute anything to the fact.
