New Elder Scrolls Adventures from Bethesda? |
|
Here is what on Amazon:
-----------------------------------------------------
Elder Scrolls Adventures
Price: $49.99
Availability: This item will be released on July 18, 2003. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.
----------------------------------------------------
Since few years ago Bethesda also released games like Redguard: Elder Scrolls Adventures, so could this be the rumored Blood Moon? or the Oblivion? or it's just an error at Amazon?

Oblivion was the original name of TES III before they changed it to Morrowind. So that's not it. I've never heard of Blood Moon, but I sure hope this is true. |

After looking at the page at Amazon that you refered to I find it highly unlikely. According to this it's supposed to be released on the PS2 with no PC version. I doesn't sound like Bethesda at all. They've only released games for the X-box and PC and they've never made a game without a PC version. |

Well, no TES games anyway (they had some strange action game for PS2). PC gamers are too fond of TES for them to ignore that market. Sorry for all these posts, I'll stop right away. |

Naa, keep going - it was all interesting information!
I have to agree, I don't think this is correct either. There's no mention of the title on Bethesda's web page, and I've never heard of it anyway. If it were so close to completion I'm sure we would have heard of it by now, no matter what format it's for. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Hm. It could be true. The devs are definitely working on SOMETHING, we don't know what it is, and they wouldn't necessarily announce it right away. They never did a TES console title at all before MW, but that one has been very successful, so maybe they wanted to hit more of the console market.
Personally I would be peeved if the next TES game weren't available on PC, but I guess that would be the Revenge of the Consoles for Tribunal |

On the original news about Blood Moon, see the related article in Russian language ---> http://www.crpg.ru/article.php?sid=5344
Translation to English (by a poster at official forums - Lord Theros):
"Firm 1C and company have declared signing the contract with company Bethesda Softworks Inc. On the edition in Russia, in territory of the countries of the CIS and Baltic at once two additions to superhit Morrowind. First add-it(add-he) is already known to admirers of the cult universe is recently left The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal. And the name of the second, fairly I admit, for me became some unexpectedness, because The Elder Scrolls III: Blood Moon till now was not officially anonsirovan the developer of a set - company Bethesda Softworks. Localization of additions, as well as in a case with original Morrowind, will be made Akelloj. About precise terms relizov add-onov in Russia, in territory of the countries of the CIS and Baltic to us promise to inform in addition. While, unfortunately, more any information about Blood Moon is not known. Will hope only "while", and in the near future developery will slightly open a veil of secret above the following project."

Few employees at Bethesda got these to say (from official forums):
WormGod (GT Noonan)

Ok, I am saying "something".
There. I said it.
As for an expansion or TES4 in the works.... hold all my calls, feed the cat while I am out, and make sure to collect my mail. I will be away behind the Iron Curtain. I was issued a gag order.

Guar Racing 2 and Fargoth: The Adventurer -
Guar Racing 2 is a sequal to the highly acclaimed Guar Racing X - an extreme - style racing sim with actual combat features.
Fargoth: The Adventurer is a sort of Sea Dogs-esque first person shooter where you can either play as Fargoth or play as Raid, the lone bountyman sworn to track him down
They should both be out Feb. 29th of this year
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You could make your own conclusion on these.
Personally i think Bethesda is up to no good. |
