I finally decided to pick a camp to join and I'm going to join the New Camp. Except for the fact that when I go to Lares he says I have to be level 5. This is would make sense except for the fact that I already am level 5. So what do i do? |

Uh...he never asked for a list because Mordrag spoke up for me. (Plus I already gave it to Diego but he doesn't know that.) |

He told you to get something important from the Old Camp (i.e. the List). If you've given it to Diego, then you can't join the New Camp.

but...he never asked me for anything important (the list). he just says "Mordrag has spoken up for you, but you're not ready yet." and then it says "Condition for admittance: Level 5" He didn't even mention anything about the list and he definately didn't tell me to get it cuz mordrag spoke up for me i think. |

Had you already given the list to Diego? If so, then the dialog would have no reason for existing, thus the error.

One of the mercenaries in New Camp gives you a clue as to how to join the NC. He says something like "steal something important from the Old Camp" And then Diego gives you the ultimate clue "Make sure the New Camp doesn´t get their hands on the list!" If you gave Diego the list, you can only join Old Camp. Or the Secties I guess.

Yup, sad but true  . You need the list to join the New Camp. I too was stuck this was, so I joined the Old Camp instead... and I didn't regret it.
But if you really really really want to join the New Camp, then load up an older saved game, or cheat a little by using Marvin to get the list back or insert the list.
