Well, I finished today.

I've been putting off killing Akbaa for a few reasons. I'm only at level 8 and I wanted to finish a few quests first. Today I decided to give it a go just to see what I would be facing after I had the courage.

I went into the room and saw him at the alter, smacked him once and then got ready. I threw a few missile spells at him and ran into the corner where I was followed by a demon. I killed it, reloaded, and went back around the corner and shot a few more spells at Akbaa. I then ran back into my corner to reload and had another demon follow me. I killed it, reloaded a few more spells and went back to get Akbaa, again. Well, he was nowhere to be found. I ran all over the place looking for him and he was gone. I was sure he was terrified of my power and left, but I could still hear him slithering around somewhere. I saw something moving in the corner and saw he was up towards the ceiling. Stuck. I hit him with mana drain, because I read that somewhere, and got my bow out, not a special bow just one I had from the beginning, and stood there and shot arrows at him until he died.

A bit anti-climactic, eh?

I think I'm going to go back and kill everyone in the town starting with Alicia. She really bugs me.

In all actuality I am going to start over and do the side quests as I go and try to filter the skill points a bit better this time.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I will give help where I can too! This was fun, albeit very frustrating with all the issues, but all in all I enjoyed myself and had a good time.

I'll probably get Arx 2 because I enjoyed the idea of the game. Hopefully they work out all the kinks!

See you around! I'm sure I'll have questions as I start over! LOL. Can't wait, huh?

There are other forums here you can visit, and other games you can play, so we hope to see you around.

I'm not going anywhere! I've been waiting for Gothic 2 forever and I ended up here. Besides, I started the game over and threw a lotta points into tech skill so I can be a better theif. Just for fun. LOL! I'm breezing through it now. Heh.

The funny thing is; I have more questions now than I did before. LOL! I knew this was going to happen!
