General thoughts on the game so far

This is my whopping second post, though I have been reading your boards for a while and thought I would become a member to try and contribute something back for all the help you have given me over the months.

After picking up G1 @ Best Buy a while back (which I love and still play, very nice touch that I don't need the CD to do that) I decided to get G2 and try it out. On my first go around my thoughts were OMG this sucker is hard. I mean just on the way to town I died a couple of times! Then when I started exploring I found so many things that would just wipe me out. This made me a little peeved but it makes sense. In the real world there are things that will wipe you out too, so this makes sense here too. Just makes being low level stink even worse.

I do love the game play and the way that the controls are redone. Plus the world is just so incredible. The detail is just eye popping! I haven't progressed very far, plus this is the second laptop that I have installed it on and haven't moved my old save files over yet. I think I was up to like level 15 and a fire mage. Something that I never played on G1.

Over all it is another game that I love and will be patient and learn to survive and vanquish the evil from yet another world. (Funny how it always seems to be up to me to eliminate the ultimate evil) Thanks for all of your help and here's to being able to help someone else out in the future.
