ok....where is the queen's nest? I am supposedly supposed to find it behind the gate in the mine with the winch but that guy who is guarding it kicks my butt every time....where is the nest and how do I get to it? also... where can I get a better weapon than a mace I got from nyras? I was hoping for a heavy hitter. I'm in the second chapter. Also.... how do I get to see the fire mages without actually having to draw my weapon and run past the guards?

The queen's nest is behind the gate. You're not supposed to fight Asghan to get there though... you should takl to Ian first who'll ask you to get a gear wheel for him. Bring him the wheel and then he'll tell you what to say to Asghan so he'll let you in.
About the mages... They should let you into the castle as soon as you're ready to join the Old Camp... or after you did join another camp.

I joined sect camp and am a novice but stupid thorus won't let me in still....he will only let me in if I pay him 1000 ore.

Go look for a Baal Orun. The quest is not starightforward though.
You'll have to do a small quest for one of Orun's novices, then get instruction from Orun (without talking to him) to collect weed, get weed from weed farmers in the swamp, kill some bloodflies, give the collection to Cor Kalom, go back to Baal Orun.
Confusing?
Well, basically you have to get Kalom to send you to deliver weed to the OC, or you'll never get in. |
