Hi,
I tried hard to climb down the slopes near Gilbert's cave but I ended up killed every time. I read in some FAQ that ALT+DOWN is the command but please, anyone, elaborate a bit.
Take care.

I've never actually 'climbed down' I'll usually jump down the steps I used to get where I am. If your have to much trouble there is a bug you can exploit where you hit the strafe key when falling. The bug will prevent you from dying.

Good point. I guess my avatar does look sad. I always thought she looked pensive.

Val, isn't pensive just a more politically correct version of sad though?

Pensive means deep in thought, or thoughtful and gloomy. Check a dictionary.

Hmmm... I guess she does look sad. At least a bit ...

Random House:
Pensive - expressing thoughtfulness or sadness...

And, of course, your dictionary which indicates gloomy - which is just a synonym for sadness.
