How do I get out of the Foreign Quarter in Vivec? |
|
Up, down, up, down, around and around, but still in the Foreign Quarter. Enough to drive you MAD! How do I get to the other areas of Vivec? |

Ok I jumped over the balcony and found the way.
Now after an hour of wandering around the Hllalu Canton, I still can't find the person I'm looking for - a Fighter's Guild Quest to get a Feather ring from someone. Can't find him anywhere in this compound - not even in the jail. This is (dare I say it?) getting tiresome and boring. Does anyone know where this person is so I can go and do something else? |

Hagatha,
I had a hell of a time figuring out how to get back down to the lower levels in Vivec. It sounds like a lot of others have too. I ran around for hours trying to get down.
As it turns out, the way to the lower level is right in front of your nose. Remember when you first came into the Foriegn area and had to go up some ramps to get inside? Once you're outside, look for the doors that are deeply recessed into the building (not the ones that go up to the plaza level). Stand in front of the door, and turn left or right. The ram is right there! They're well hidden, because the roof of the ramp blends in with the side walls of the door canopy. I'm sure this wasn't be design, but they definitely are hard to see until you're right on top of them.
I can't remember for sure, but I believe different cantons have ramps on different levels and different places. If you can't find them outside, go inside and go up or down a level, then outside again. Once you figure out that they're there, it's MUCH easier to get around. |

I think Vivec is poorly designed...too damn confusing! Even knowing where the ramps are located doesn't make things all better. It's like looking for a single room in a damn skyscraper! They tell you which building it's in, and what the room is called...but it's up to you to search the floors, etc. Vivec LOOKS good, but holy moly it's confusing!! _________________ Member of the "Fantastic ONE"
