Bal Sagoth - Atlantis Ascendant

awesome science-fiction and fantasy-themed "extreme" metal, with lots of keyboards. sounds kinda like Yanni went black metal, without the pesky shadow of the ever-cliched lord of darkness being referred to and praised redundantly. amazing musicians, i cant believe ive gone this long without hearing them. heres a good sample of some of their stuff:
only the last few links off the aforementioned cd "atlantis ascendant" seem to work tho,

On the way to and back from Jacksonville yesterday we listened to Queens of the Stone Age, Tiger Army, The Offspring, Eric Clapton (It was my friend's dad who was driving the car, and he wanted to listen to his music too), The Beatles, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now. But poohead8989 just sat in the car and complained that our music sucked. Spoilsport.

And I suppose all we music people don't have lives? Don't post on this topic unless you've got something topic-relevent to say, not an insult post.

I dusted off Carcass: "Heartwork" last night, and man, this is one awesome CD. It came out in '94, but can still be found on Amazon.com. The only reason they don't rule the world right now is that the vocals kind of suck(and they broke up, too ). The "singing" kinda' sounds like Satan breech birthin' a porcupine. I can only imagine what this band might have been with a Tom Araya or that dude from Sanctuary on the mic because the band is phenominal.
