Everyone Respond!! What do you all think is the best weapon? And what should I do with it? I heard ebony staff but what should i enchant it with? As in what powers?

I would imagine the best weapon would be ebony staff with 100 health steal for as many seconds as you can get.

It might be considered spamming. =Jaz=

I dont know the best weapon but i would think the best weapon would be a ring with constant effect invisibility on it?!? does anyone know if that would work? That would be the best item by far

FrostyKiss: Yes, it's absorb health.

An exquistite ring could easily have constant effect invisibility on it. Invis is only 100pts for constant effect. But chameleon is better (doesn't turn off when you open chests, etc)
I have a "Skirt of Shimmering" I made, with 24% constant chameleon. I just crouch down, and any guy who was charging at me stops attacking, and wanders away. Whee

Note: The skirt is actually 1-24% chameleon. The trick is to keep re-equipping it until it randomly picks a high number, such as 23-24. Then never take it off, and it will stay at that number.

Oh, as for weapons, paralysis never hurts (but can backfire).
Cram as much damage as you can into a 1 second burst. No point drawing it out into 3-4 seconds of damage for the same price (and same overall damage), when you'll be hitting the guy every 1-2 seconds anyways. The damage doesn't stack if they overlap. I reccomend fire or simply direct health damage. Never tried absorb health.

I like my daedric katana which restores my health every time I hit. Works wonderfully. I might try adding a paralyse effect to it as well. Everyone seems to think that is a terrific idea as well.

is it possible to put several different enchantments into your weapon? .. Like 50 frost damage 50 absorb health?? Or of a Constant effect like 50 chameleon and 20 resist magika?

And on another note, whats the best curiass type armor in the game? I found one tha is 192 defense (I think) With 60 resist magika constant effect? is that the best

Yes, there is a spell to reduce all elemental damage. Expensive though.

I haven't found a better armor then that 60% resist armor. It's interesting to note that you can't actually fit a 60% resist into any item in the game, when enchanting it yourself.

It's easy to put multiple enchantments into an object, but the cost goes WAY up when you do. The way it generally works is the first enchantment is the normal cost, the second costs twice as much, the third three times as much, etc. They threw in something else though that makes it weird. It's very important what order you put the enchantments in, as that can drastically affect how much you get into the item.

Example: Bound daedric items all cost 10pts each, when made constant (incredibly useful).
So an exquiste ring can hold 4 constantly bound items. The costs would be
Gloves: 10pts
Sword: 20pts (bring the total to 30)
Boots: 30pts (total is now 60)
Helm: 40pts (total is now 100, ring can't hold any more)

But if you were to do the helm first, it would only cost 10pts, and everything else after it would go up in enchantment cost.

Well, in an exquisite ring (120pts) I managed to get 100pts health damage and 100pts fire damage, on touch. Works great, and it didn't even fill up the ring. You could prob get 100 and 80 into a staff, but I'm not sure. I tried other combinations, involving 3 types of damage, but it just wasn't as efficient. Had to lower the other ones too much.
