Anito has generally received mildly positive reviews but C&VG weren't impressed at all. Their <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/r/?page=http://www.computerandvideogames.com/reviews/reviews_story.php(que)id=101272" target="_blank">review</a> has a score of 47% but you can be confident the detailed 4-paragraph article has all the angles covered:<blockquote><em> OK, you can stop laughing now - it's not easy to come up with game titles you know. And what's with the tittering at the 2D graphics? Visuals aren't everything. You can lay off the control interface too - years ago most games were controlled using the keyboard. If it was good enough then... OK, I'll give up. It's all but impossible to defend the dated presentation and clunky interface that are constant reminders Anito was designed and developed by a small start-up development company.</em></blockquote> |

Something tells me that they were only able to complete the tutorial for the game. After that, without prompts to point them to what they had to do, they got lost. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
