I can kill someone with a bow but I cant kill anyone with a two-handed weapon. I did it one time but on accident and could never figure out how to do it again...
if they are people and not monsters, they just keep getting back up after they pass out on the floor for a few seconds.
It is wierd that they didnt cover this in the manual. they didnt cover how to swim in the manual either.

If you beat someone with sword (melee weapon) in your hand, you just beat him... If you want to kill him, you must press up + use button when he is laying on the ground...your character will take sword and stab it into stomach...
Same for you - when someone beats you, you will be laying for few second, if he wants to kill you, he will perform same nice thing

yep...blunt objects cannot be used to kill people, I don't think..someone correct me if I'm wrong there..
btw, you gotta be careful who you kill..never know when you might need that person later on!

Yes, good idea is not kill people with specific name... or kill them only if you really know, that you will not need them.
Some of NPCs are imortal, because you will need them.
But maybe not all you will need
