Once upon a time there was a lonely sailor who traveled to the world of Gothic.
His ship was destroyed in the violent storm, but he managed to survive.
From afar, a tall tower caught his attention. He thought it was the way to heaven, and he tried to approach it.
He suddenly found the existence of undead throughout the place. He ran as fast as he could to get out.
He ran and ran, going to every corner of the colony and left notes everywhere. Somehow he thought that the undeads were still chasing him.
Finally, he ran back to the fog tower to try to find a way to stop the undeads, but unfortunately... (you know the end).

Note: I made up that story.

I think Chromanin is an undead creature. Maybe he has the power to summon undeads into the realm when you read the last book. Maybe the sailor found out a secret about the Chromanin.

I think that sailor was the skeleton mage. When you read the last book, a sk mage spawns directly on top of him. Did he become the mage?

Did you have fun looking for it? Well, if I give you the link to the map, I will spoil the fun of looking for the rest.

Go out from the N. gate of the OC. Remember the diggers outside? Start from there and cross the river. If you keep on going, you'll see a place full of Bloodflies and Lurkers. Book 3 is somewhere on that island.

i think chromanin discovered a gateway to the realm of beliar. with each book he wrote, he drew closer to the Lord of Death's throne. he knew that great power was there, and great danger as well. he knew also that he could not succeed on his own. so he waited by the gateway for a companion to accompany him. however, as he began writing the last book, beliar saw he drew close to power not meant for mortal men. he smote the man with a slew of skeletons, so that none would know the secrets and power of the Realm of Death.

OHHH!!! beat that!

Well, the hero knows about it after reading the books.

Why the hell did they put it in a place like that. What has it got to do with the poem.
