Temple Quest (Malacath statue and daedra hearts)

I'm supposed to sacrifice four daedra hearts at a shrine/statue on Sheogorad.
I found the statue (not the quest-giving shrine but a statue in the wild) but when I place four hearts there nothing happens. What to do? Did I miss something?

Click the statue or maybe have read the book ( sermon )required before clicking.

Malacath

I find Malacath statue in the assurdipul or whatever shrine but nothing happens even though I have 4 daedra hearts. Your supposed to talk to it and then its triggered. This thing about a wild statue? I haven't seen it.

you should facing it & then press space bar. it should be working.
