| How do I kill the Fire Golem |
|
How can I kill this dammed Fire Golem? I have an Ice Bolt spell that I can't use because my spell level is one too low, and I have an Ice Block spell that doesn't seem to be working  I have this white icy thing in my hand and when I press Ctrl-up to activate/use it all I get is a blue circle and blue shimmery lights around me - nothing happens to the Golem 
Failing that what's the cheat code for the heart

if u are using ice block then u need to hold it down before it releases by itself and if it dosent do that then go and get some more mana points or get a ring what will increase some of them  |

I've tried both these things and still no luck. I'm not a mage in any way, shape, or form, so I have to confess to using a 'cheat' here. I got the code for the heart and just avoid the golem. Couldn't think of any other way to do it. Now, however, I've just come back from the Orc underground temple with a fair few skill points to use, which I'll put into magic - if I'm able.

Sherrin, are you trying to use an Ice Bolt rune? Just use scrolls! You can buy them from Cronin at the new camp and you don't have to have any magic ability at all to use them. Each scroll only requires 1 mana to use. |

S.T. Is right. I killed the thing with ice bolt scrolls. Use a speed potion as well so you can hit him and run back before he catches up to you. I think three or four well placed ones will do it, more if you are farther away. Good luck.

Yes, I was using the scrolls, not a rune. I've tried the ice bolts. Only got a hand full of white stuff that did nothing and went nowhere. I held the contols down and I just clicked 'em, but it made no difference.
Ahh wellll. 
I've just finished the game anyway. Was good, I liked it. I'm looking foward to Gothic II arriving any day now so I can continue the adventure But Morrowind is still my personal favourite.
