Are you talking about the Old Ruin or Xardas' tower?

Look here.

The Old Ruin is where G is.
Xardas' tower is X.

Remember where you met lester for the focus stone. It's near there but this time don't turn left to cross the bridge with the golem. Go right and you will see another bridge. The citadel is on the other side.
