Can't Install

Every time I try to install Gothic I get an erroe message stating that data2 has the wrong function. I installed it before and it worked fine, but now it won't even install.

1. You have to look the surface of your CD and search for heavy scratches. It there are it could be the reason for the errors

2. Try to install it on another computer. If the install don't succeed then it's your CD. If the install doesn't give errors then it's you operative system. Try to re-install it...

3. And if you have not the oportunity of installing the CD into other computers create a subdirectory (whatever name you want) and try to copy all the CD into there (you need 650Mb of free space). If the CD copy works then it's your operative system, re-install it. If the copy gives you problems it's the CD that is broken.

Is a code in the error message similar to this one: 0X80004005 ?
