Vivec Murder quest for Office of the Watch

Alright, I've killed the lady in the netch armor with a dagger in the Vivec Foreign Quarter Sewers.. and I go to the Office of the Watch guy and select [woman with dagger] and he says the same thing he said before, but, it does not complete the quest. Anyone have this problem?

EDIT: Sorry, typo. It DOESN'T complete the quest.

Solution

Carefully go through ALL the possible discourse options with the Watch commander who gave you the quest. I forget which does it (I seem to remember "work" does it) for sure - but one of them does complete it. There are several quests I have found like this - the designers didn't cross check the correct (or all the logical ones) discourse options.
