Does dexterity increase the damage of ranged weapons ? Or maybe skills in using ranged weapons do ?

Your skill in shooting with bow or crossbow conditions your effective range, precision, and chance to do critical hit.
Non-critical damage of ranged weapons isn' t affected by dexterity, while on the other hand, dexterity points above demanded for a weapon conditions the power of the critical hit.
